There seems to be anurgency in the Body of Christ these about people wanting to understand spiritual warfare. I think that maybe it because of the condition of America right now but that is a subject for another day. I have been searching a way to give a friend understanding of spiritual warfare in a way that makes sense. Yesterday while at a ministry leadership conference I heard something, we should all ponder on, this person said, “Warfare is occupational”. In other words he said that you don’t enter warfare to win but to occupy. The truth is the devil is already defeated. You goal is to occupy the promise of God and stand as victor.
When you find yourself saying , I have prayed, declared, decreed, rebuked and renounced everything and you get up off of your knees or stop walking the floor and you don’t see change don’t be dismayed. You are victorious and you have already won. What is God’s promise in this battle go to His word and find out you can start with Romans 8:37 which declares us more than a conqueror. If you look the Old Testament you will notice that when there was a battle the winner then occupied the territory. So let me end with this since you have already won the battle, occupy.
If you are experiencing your own personal wilderness like the children of Israel, you have become discourage. In my devotional time, I read a story that Satan had a business and he was selling hatred, envy, jealousy, deceit and discouragement. When Satan was asked why he sold discouragement at a higher price, Satan replied, “because it is more useful to me than any of the others.”
Don’t be discourage look up to Jesus who redeemed you, healed you, and set the captives free. Be encouraged that where you are now is just a preparation for where you are going.
Mediate on this: Psalm 91: 1-4 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save youfrom the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
There is a charge in the atmosphere that is bringing those who have been in transition to place where God is moving so rapidly in our lives that we cannot afford to wait, procrastinate or hesitate. God is saying move.
I have always been one who was cautious and hesitant even when I know God was speaking but a few months back God started dealing with me about procrastination. Procrastination is said to be the act of willfully delaying or doing something that should be done. Some us have gotten into habit of delaying or putting a task that needs to get done. I was like that until a few months ago. I was always putting something off until never got done.
Prov. 13:4 spoke to me so clearly, it says, “The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.” Guess what if I desire to do something and do not, I do not profit but when I am diligent to go after what I want I get it and some so much more.
Sister, you can’t keep sitting on the side lines it is time to get up and get moving. What is God speaking to you to do or what is something you desire that you have not been willing to put effort into.
The Lord is saying you know what He is a placed in your heart to do so you need to do it. Start writing down and then follow the steps you need to take you there and I promise you that God will begin to open up doors and connections. I have had to develop some boldness to pursue people and things that is opening the door to the women’s ministry God has given me. God is moving quickly and I am keeping up because there is no time to put on the brakes. I am encouraging you sister to go for it and I will be in prayer that procrastination will not hold you back. From one Queen to another Queen be blessed.
